Independent Contractor Disclaimer

Painting Contractors is an online platform that connects homeowners and businesses with independent painting contractors and service providers.

Painting Contractors does not employ, manage, supervise, control, endorse, screen, certify, or guarantee any contractor listed, participating, or submitting quotes through the platform unless explicitly stated otherwise.

All contractors operate as independent businesses and are solely responsible for their own licensing, insurance, WSIB coverage, pricing, contracts, workmanship, conduct, scheduling, communication, and project completion.

Painting Contractors does not perform the work shown in listings and does not guarantee contractor availability, pricing, workmanship, timelines, project outcomes, project completion, or customer satisfaction.

Any agreement, communication, payment, dispute, or working relationship formed after a client chooses to continue communication with a contractor is strictly between the client and the contractor involved.

Clients are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before hiring any contractor, including verifying references, insurance, qualifications, and written agreements.

Contractors purchasing lead or quote-form access are paying for the opportunity to submit a quote or bid through the platform. Lead access fees are final and non-refundable once access has been granted, regardless of project outcome, customer response, whether a contractor is selected for the project, or whether communication continues after access is provided.

Painting Contractors shall not be held liable for damages, losses, disputes, injuries, delays, workmanship issues, payment disputes, cancellations, misrepresentations, or any other claims arising from interactions or agreements between clients and independent contractors.
